To protect or not to protect?

Considering the love of spammers for this page, it might be worth it to "protect" it from editing from people who do not have an account? Hassat Hunter 19:35, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Why not protect all pages against changes without an account? I think anybody who wants to make a contribution should do so with an account. Easier to see made a change ( for talking to them if required ) using an account name than using an IP. --Dragonlord 22:26, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Eventually it's probably a good idea to disable anonymous editing, but for now I'd like to keep it open so people can contribute without too much hassle. Since all the spam seems to happen to the Forum City page, I'm going to protect that though. --Jonas 08:33, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Looks like it's time now. Spam bots start now to create new pages. Non-admin members can not fix this vandalisme anymore ( we can't delete pages ) so I would suggest to put up the member-only lock now before the spam-festival really starts.

I concur. Minty Fresh Death 16:39, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Protect gets my vote. Wikis don't even require email confirmation to join. It's incredibly easy to join one. All editors should be held accountable. Something becomes a lot more credible when you put your name on it; Anonymous has all of zero credibility. Nevermind that I fully intend to spam the hell out of this wiki, although entirely in the form of positive contributions. ;-) DarkRealityX 12:45, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
It's already happened (you may note the edit button missing when not logged in)... Hassat Hunter 13:48, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
