Hoverbots are robots unique to The Nameless Mod and are arguably also the most goddamned infuriating enemies in the entire mod.

As well as being able to levitate and thus relentlessly pursue the player with considerably less restraint than ground based enemies, they possess an electric attack that zaps the player's bio-electrical levels at twice the rate of a Spiderbot attack. Even more frustrating is their strategic placement in hard-to-spot places, their presence only made clear by a single activating beep, upon which the player can expect to get relentlessly fried. Mercifully, they are vulnerable to EMP attacks, making the EMP Pistol, the GEP Gun and the Quad Rocket Launcher (when equipped with EMP Rockets) the weapons of choice for shooting them down. If you attack them with regular weaponry, they will go into a suicide mode when reaching critical health, causing them to try to get near you and explode.
