Computer (skill)
From The Nameless Mod
One of the most useful skills in both Deus Ex and TNM, the Computer skill allows you to hack into all kinds of security systems, several without login, or saving you the hassle of finding such a login. Reading e-mail is also a possibility, but due to the limited amount of time, it may be hard to read the contents. TNM helped in that regard by giving many PC's a print option, allowing you to hack, print, and read without a ticking clock.
Another change compared to Deus Ex is that Trained no longer allows you to access all PC's and security consoles in the game. Several have requirements of Advanced, some even require master skill.
Be careful when hacking ATM's, as doing such with a low skill will give less money than the account contains, and it shuts down the ATM for good (because day 2 uses different maps previous unavailable ATM's can become available once again though). Unlike Deus Ex, TNM uses a global ATM-system, and all ATM's in the game will access the same list of accounts, instead of seperate accounts per mission.
Note that at the time of writing the current version of TNM (1.0.2) contains a bug that can turn all ATM's into the DX style, giving nearly infinite money to the player.
